Hi I found this odd quarter in my back yard the other day the mint Mark is filled in and it appears to have some kind of error in Gerorge Washington's head. If anyone can help identify obscurity and wheher or not his is a mint error or not I would be much obliged thank you very much.

We need better pictures. This isn't going to cut it. You should take a close up picture of the mint mark.

Hi VonVon and

I see what looks like a hit right by Washington's Ear. The filled mint mark is common and a lot of times occurs from normal usage (the devices and designs get flattened and worn over time).

A clearer picture would help. The mintmark doesn't appear to be filled to me and the hair area is too dark, even after editing.

thank you for editing my picture and spending time checking it out, I appreciate the warm welcome. May I inquire as to what something like this may be worth?

No extra value.
Still worth 25 cents.
