Very nice find Bate and congratulations! That's definitely a keeper! That's a huge Die Chip. It literally took about half of the "E" in "CENT". It a monsterous sized one.

That's an interior die break on both of the E's. Lolol. SEND that one to cudsoncoins email! See if they wanna take a look at it lol

Just a tired die. Also the obverse was over polished making the devices there thinner. There are probably only about 250K of them that year from that die pair. (Plus or minus a few hundred thousands) Save the good coins. Melt the inferior ones. (That my motto)

Nice coin Bates and nice pics too. Along with the die chips and clash, that thing has been polished half to death. Those are some serious scratches. Very cool coin. Not everything is about the premium it may fetch.

Very nice die chips Bate. Both on the E's. I have never found any on the One Cent before.

I'll keep looking though.
