Hello everyone,

Does anyone know what could have caused this damage? at mint, wire ring or PMD? It is raised in spots. Looks like a button setting there. :)

This is a stain, not an error.

Because of the tiny copper spots and the odd color around the "dot" it looks like solder like substance applied to the coin. So,PSD.

Def looks like someone tried to solder a pin to it or it was at one point.

Thanks! I wondered, but acetone did not remove it and the silver color was raised a bit around the center. Should I try to remove it, or do you think it's interesting enough to keep, or a throw back? Thanks everyone.

It's PMD. Keep it if you want, it's only worth 5 cents.
