Again Bates, don't want to get your hopes up but I thought his ear looked pretty wierd or mishapen. Can't really tell by the pics. Are you doing something diff cause a couple days ago your pics looked awesome. Now you can really zoom in and see any kind of detail. Anyways, one of the best of varieties of DD for the large date 82 has a n ear that's extra thick and the letters show a slight spread but yours might be a later die state plus it's been polished pretty good so I don't the spread is really noticable, but the letters look fatter. There's a die scratch that runs NE from the bottom of the 2 and another scratch, if it hasn't been poliahed, running down from the I in liberty to the rim. Hope it is.

Looks like the R in liberty has the same little chip or whatever on it. I think it's the real deal. Cool coin
