Through comparing other pictures of this same variety, I believe this dime could possibly be a 1942/1 D but would appreciate the opinions of my fellow numismatists. Thanks a million! Jon

Sorry jon I just don't see what I supposed to be seeing on a 1942/1D .

Possibly but would need better photos of the date. The lump under the 4 and the one under the 2 are sort of on the wrong side of the numbers though.

Need higher resolution and less magnification (possibly some better focus as well) your images are seriously pixleated which eliminates any chance positive identification.

I do not see it based on the photos provided - which as suggested above are out of focus and highly pixelated and not really helpful.

The 42/1 dimes that I have seen are pretty easy to see the date. Sorry but I think yours is not that coin.
