Can't find price it would be. Anyone have any idea? I'm new to this so I only noticed the double dye and the L is close to the rim and less aparent then the rest of the word liberty. Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74662 Posts	Posted 07/11/2018 10:31 pm That's not a Doubled Die Obverse. Also, it's Doubled Die, not double dye. This is Die Deterioration, caused by a worn die. This is very common on the late 1980's Lincoln Memorial Cents, since they are using Copper plated Zinc planchets, instead of Copper planchets. Letters/numbers getting too close to the rim is a strong indicator that what you see is Die Deterioration.
