Thanks Dollardude! When I searched there was a complete, or almost so, lack of sales history for this VAM. With a pop of 5 that could be that it is so rare that it rarely sells, or it could be that no one cares enough to slab one. The sole example I found was a heritage auction where the coin did fetch a premium, but I think it was for the strike rather than the VAM. Curiously both examples, and my own, that I found exhibit strong strikes, to include all 9 rays, curl detail ect. Leading me to wonder if this die pair were one of the early die pair on the first day. Possibly shattering before many impressions were made. The coins do exibit a lot of die repair indicators.
