Hello CCF,

Please share your thoughts on this 1972 Jefferson nickel. Seems to be about 50% off center with full steps and in great condition.

What value could this bring?

Thank you!

Very nice snag and congratulations! I'm not sure on the Full Steps (FS), but other members will be able to tell you. As for value, I'd say you can get 15 to 20 dollars for it.

Cool coin! As for full steps, I would say no off the bat since it appears part of the steps were cut off in minting process. BUT, I'm no expert :)

Nice, I've been hoping to chance upon one like that in my CRH. How was it found?

E & V probably correct to the right collector. IMO.

I purchased it a local estate sale. It was in a box which included 10-15 other random/interesting/potential error coins for $20.

I've no idea what it's worth, but that price seems like a decent value. Congrats!

Excellent coin!

I agree it is around 50% off center. As far as value, somewhere from $10-$20 depending on the buyer.

I don't know about full steps on something like this, but I don't think it really matters because it's not worth getting graded.
