Hey all. I'm always scouring them 82 zincolns and posted some pics of one that almost had me for a second. Look at that deep clear Strike Doubling awesome. Study this coin, it almost looks like a zinc WDDO-003 with accompanying Machine Doubling . Closest I have come to the 1982 WDDO-005 is in my imagination.

Don't mix up the numbers between varietyvista, coppercoins. I'm using Wexlers listing. Everyone knows about the WDDO-002 that's the easy one. Its the 03,04, and 05 that frustrate and mystify me. Whose the experts on these ones and do you have pics of them. Their busting my chops. Anyone have any of these baby's. If so please post pics.

I can't tell, but there's definitely Machine Doubling on the right side of the devices. That's pretty cool Machine Doubling though!

Errors I posted a topic with pictures on these rascals awhile back with what I and a few others thought might actually be an WDDO-003 but with plating issues (little pimples) its hard to tell. Then there's the zinc 82's with balloon thickness on motto? Ah, its making me nutty.
Their must be several working hub doubled dies as I find the fat ones quite regularly.

That does look like WDDO-003, but the doubling is in the opposite direction. It is just Machine Doubling though.

I honestly think WDDO-001 and maybe WDDO-004 are some sort of Doubled Working Hub or Master Die, I see similar doubling on nearly every Large Date 1982.

I only have WDDO-002, so I can't really help with that. I would definitely want to see more pics of WDDO-003 as well.
