1998 LMC Ghosting Or Shadowing Error

Has anyone seen this before? I see some shadowing pattern on a lot of the lettering (obverse and reverse) and on Lincoln's head.

I think what you are seeing is due to defective plating. I don't see any ghosting.

Yep, just faulty plating. This is very common on the Copper plated Zinc Cents. It happens all of the time.

Huh? All I see is Die Deterioration Doubling. No defective planchet. the other error this resembles, would be plating disturbance, but that's not what this is. Just Die Deterioration.

I believe the term ghosting usually is used to refer to progressive indirect design transfer.
