Check the weight with digital scales. The one you want will be 3.1 grams.

Popsicle stick and a known copper cent and see if it levels out and balances straight on top of a pencil or something would probably work

It's not rare. It's only rare if it's the Copper one, which weighs 3.1 grams.

By the pics I am almost for sure this is a Zinc cause the stain around MM and the bubble on the surface but you never know?

Bate is correct. Yours is a Copper plated Zinc planchet, since you can see the bubbly plating.

Mark, yep. There's been only one found so far. It was probably just a fluke, and a Mint Employee accidently put a Copper planchet in.

It definitely looks Zincoln and not a copper core.Sorry ,I know you got excited but who knows maybe one of these days.
