So I found this double headed nickel in the register at my old job I got so excited I almost punched my manager but I went on break and noticed something can anyone see the problem and yes this is the same coin

Yep, that's called a Magicians coin. It's used for tricks, such as coin flipping. It's Post Strike Damage, since it was done after it left the U.S. Mint.

Whoever made it did a good job other than they used 2 different dated nickles.

I can agree that they did a pretty good job. The only thing that stands out is the two different dates.
