This is a tough coin to photograph since it has semi-prooflike surfaces. Weakness in the "IN" on the reverse (probably a worn or overpolished die). Probably cleaned at one time, now re-toning. The small dark spots on the obverse right are not pits, just surface spots. Is it worth trying to get into a no-problem TPG holder?

Au/uncir details grade wouldn't be the worst thing ever for tha one. You can see it the best if it's lusterous yea I'd give it a go. The spotting shouldn't be enough for details grades on their own but will probably knock it down a grade. It's hard to say for sure from the pics as some look bad and others look like there could be luster

I believe it looks worth getting a grade on it, It never hurts it.

Nice looking coin. Try having it slabbed.

I'd send it in if it were mine. It appears to have a bit of luster on it.

Can't tell if there's luster from these pics. I'm pretty sure it's been cleaned and has retoned since then, hence the "prooflike" (actually reflective from being dipped) surfaces. But if it has good luster and actual prooflike surfaces then send it to a TPG.

The PL surfaces are not from being cleaned. As far as the picture I think it needs more lighting and diffuse the lights to avoid the hot spots/reflections.

Personally, I don't care for the somewhat blotchy coloring on this, and would not spend even more money trying to "dress it up".
