Probably best condition without using any prop

Photo looks good but too small. Crop to 600x600 or slightly higher. Let us know camera, lens, and settings, if you have the info.

I'm experimenting with using outdoor lighting on a cloudy day for coin photography, with a FUJIFILM, FinePix A210
3.2 MB digital camera.
All my good photographic equipment is color-film based, and thus, to expensive to experiment with.
This shot was cropped from an 850 KB jpeg image.

No coins outside ever, under any conditions! If you care about the coins. JMHO.

Your image makes the coin look -- unnatural.

But if you want sunlight (which is a good light source) stay inside; find an appropriate windowsill.
