I'm going to be traveling to Boston next month and was wondering if there are any dealers that are worth checking out?

I'm actually traveling through Boston next month to visit family in Rhode Island and I wouldn't mind stopping as well! I am following this thread!

Bumping an old threa for future reference:

The best coin shop in town *was* JJ Teaparty. They closed their shop a few years ago and moved all their operations online... Tey still do shows, but I miss their store. They were on Bromfield Street in downtown in what used to be called the Jewelry District (aka the Ladder District). There are still three shops on Bromfield Street that deal in coins, but they are better classified as "gold/silver buyers". They have coins, but their sell prices are too high and their buy prices are too low. I guess their margins have to justify the ridiculous rents in town.

Anyone else have recommendations for Boston-area shops?

We are heading to the Boston area in early January.. Has anyone been to Northshore Numismatics in Wakefield? I like to take my son to a local shop on every adventure so that we can pick out something to remember the trip by...

Northshore in Wakefield is not bad. Their prices are fair and they do have a good amount of stock. Sometimes you can get some decent coins out of their junk silver piles too.

Thanks mail187man! I appreciate the reply. Are there any other shops in around Boston that you might recommend?
