F-VF, (British grading), reverse better, the 'VF' refers to the reverse only. I use Sheldon for U.S. coins only - I mainly collect World coins. Perhaps if you wish to Sheldon grade for yourself, you could compare, using Google PCGS photograde, and compare with your choice of Half Eagle. Report this Post to the Staff
moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 07/21/2018 08:55 am A very common coin in Mint State. It is reduced to near bullion value for VF hand lower grades. Sheldon Grade = 50. Hints of dipping, but can't confirm this by photos only. Check ebay sold for current values. Report this Post to the Staff
