Nice treasure find with the silver dime. Congratulations. I can't tell if your 1960 D large date cent is a minor repunched mintmark or not. I almost see a faint thin second line inside the loop of D but pics. make it hard to tell. Keep searching, my first die variety was a 1960 D rpm F'S-501. Their still out there good luck.

Thanks, Meow will take another look at that penny mintmark later. Maybe it will be a 2 bagger coin.

Does seem to be anything there. The Mintmark on the penny seems normal, unless Meow is missing something.

Yes, Meow was very happy to find 2 die chips. And on top of that the coin is in AU or so condition. A lot of times neat find come in poor condition coins. Today was a really great CRH day!

Nice finds. Can you post a full pic of that dime with the grease strike through? It looks like you're missing an entire leaf. And is that a die crack on the 80's nickel?

Quote: Nice finds. Can you post a full pic of that dime with the grease strike through? It looks like you're missing an entire leaf. And is that a die crack on the 80's nickel? The nickel is defaced with what looks like it got poked hard half a dozen times with a standard screwdriver. Meow threw that and the dime back in to the pile thinking it was nothing but a curiosity. Well lucky Meow did not feel like cashing them in today, and can maybe dig up the dime again. But the nickel was not worth keeping due to the vandalism it suffered from. Ok, Now Meow is gonna hit the pile for that dime now. Paws crossed it can be found.

Meow thinks Meow found it. It is a 1979d with some greased letters. The leaf is still there, as Meow thinks it was a trick of the light. So Meow too a pic from a different angle. And since Meow looked through the dimes again, Meow found a few polished die clashes. One is 1978d and the other is a 1989p. Hard to see , but its there. Polished out die clashes are both under the lower olive on the left.

Meow just found another 1960d penny. But sadly it has no die chips. Don't think it has a rpm either.
