1983 P Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Error Question

Cuzimcute00 Valued Member United States 112 Posts	Posted 07/27/2018 02:58 am This one looks like Lincoln's sticking his tongue out on the obverse or maybe like he has 3 lips. His chin looks different, and there's a line through his neck. Also, the designers initials on the back look funny. What could have caused these errors? Report this Post to the Staff

spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 07/27/2018 03:17 am I see die polishing on the obverse that affects Lincoln's neck and coat. There also appears to be a linear plating bubble crossing Lincoln's collar. The initials may be due to a Grease Fill.
