I don't know if it's special and I have no idea why it's patinaed this way.

No, just a dirty coin. The better one coins always are worth more. If there was something of value on the coin, the condition would really lower the price. So different looking isn't always a plus.

It's not so much the value for me with this one...I like the patina and that even if dirty all the features are fairly crisp and clear (maybe not so in pictures) sorry it's not anything extraordinary but I think I'd be more likely to buy this than a ms66 or better. This has character
