Hello, I need some input on the grade of this coin . My friend and I have been arguing about it ever since I got it. Hey thanks It is higher grade than I do. It was hard to take pictures of it because of the luster it has. I don't think it has been cleaned. Do you think NGC Is better than PCGS? Please take a look at the pictures I'm sending. Thank you in advance, JED

P S You guys are the greatest!

The condition is moot. It's a counterfeit. Notice the cartoonish date digits and irregular stars.

Poorly prepared fake, but I can certainly understand why you would ask.

It's 100% fake, unfortunately. Date is off and surfaces have texture characteristic of counterfeits.

to the CCF!

As mentioned it doesn't matter in this case, but in general PCGS. The gap with US coins between them and NGC has been growing now shrinking and doesn't look like that's going to change, but PCGS has been grading tight lately

You guys are right it is a counterfeit . The only thing good about it It weighs 12.5 grams . I got it at a yard sale In a box with some other items . There was a zooMax snow digital magnifier In there which retails for around $400. It wouldn't turn on but when I got home and plugged in the charger it worked. All it needed was a new battery . I think I did OK it only cost me 20 bucks.
Thank you guys for all the info It really helped , JED
