This silver eagle has been protected in its case all of it's life, it is not proof, but might qualify for an MS rating. BUT when I took it out of the case, I saw a bit of the rim has extra silver on it. Tried to get you a good picture.

Would very much like to know if this is okay or if it would reduce the grading. Obviously, I have little experience. Thank you!

I'm not seeing what you're talking about. Perhaps too much glare/lighting.

Please post obverse and reverse coin photos and better photos of the area you are asking about.

To CCF! It could be just damage, but there's too much glare unfortunately to tell what it is. If you can retake that picture without too much glare, that would help.

Hi, I do appreciate your responses. It is most gratifying to have some assistance. I would love to post pictures with less glare, but what you are seeing as glare is actually the silver between the Reeding Marks. On the left and right you can see the difference in the reeding, they have tarnished a bit so look dirty compared the the area in question. I will attempt to upload another or shopped photo.

The rim is otherwise perfect, so never noticed until removing from case. It like a little silver was liquid and flowed into the reeding. Thanks again.
