1987 Silver Eagle, Some Reeding Partially Filled

Darcy242 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 08/02/2018 7:03 pm This silver eagle has been protected in its case all of it's life, it is not proof, but might qualify for an MS rating. BUT when I took it out of the case, I saw a bit of the rim has extra silver on it. Tried to get you a good picture. Would very much like to know if this is okay or if it would reduce the grading. I would love to post pictures with less glare, but what you are seeing as glare is actually the silver between the Reeding Marks. On the left and right you can see the difference in the reeding, they have tarnished a bit so look dirty compared the the area in question. I will attempt to upload another or shopped photo. The rim is otherwise perfect, so never noticed until removing from case. It like a little silver was liquid and flowed into the reeding. Thanks again. Report this Post to the Staff
