Meow has been CRH for a month, and has done pennies to quarters. Meow has seen quite a few very poorly struck dimes. But they where always worn or dirty. Meow has finally found a gem BU dime that is poorly struck, and now got see what that looks like undamaged. And on the same note, This is the first Gem BU dime Meow has ever found CRH. Funny how a 1985 dime was found Gem BU, yet Meow cant even find a 2018 dime in the same condition. Anyway, Meow sure most wont be impressed, but Meow is very happy with this little find.

Nice looking older dime that has been in circulation or someone's drawer, somewhere, for 33 years, and lacks all the contact marks and damage you would expect to see, and do see on brand new 2018's.

I see that on quite a few nickels. Makes me want to hoard them for the nice appearance they have however I throw 99% of them back.

Meow has done waaaaaay more nickels CRH, and has never found even one Gem BU nickel. The nickels are heavy and have sharp corners, and dig the crap out of each other. Meow at best only finds MS62 rate nickels at best.

Meow is familiar with the term full bands in regards to dimes. And this BU dimes is NLB. for "No Lower Band" as it is not existent in this example.
