I have a 1916 Buffalo nickel with traces of 2 extra feathers to the left of the lower feather. It also has an outline of an extra left hind leg, although a different shape. But the extra hoof is there. The 'L' and 'V', and all letters of 'CENTS' look double-struck. It has had a loop soldered on. Is all of this important?
Feathers appear normal. However, did you see that tear drop under the Indians eye? He is crying due to what someone did to a nice coin with that Soldered ring.
