can anyone help me identify this coin or where I can find a official listing of it. I found one other at an auction site that said it was from 1829 struck in brass only has the one side the other is blank.Is it rare how much worth and is it genuine?thank you everyone I'm new here and collect morgans so this coin is different for me.min

It appears to be a token of some sort to me, not an actual coin or pattern. Having only one side adds to that possibility. It does appear to crudely resemble the reverse of most years of the Quarter Eagle coins except for the "2.50" instead of "2 1/2 D."

It's a game piece marker for a game called "Get The Mail Through". It's worth a buck if you can find a collector.

The guy listed it as an 1859. It was clearly not an actual US Pattern. No idea if he was a scam or just a novice.
