I found one other at an auction site that said it was from 1829 struck in brass only has the one side the other is blank.Is it rare how much worth and is it genuine?thank you everyone I'm new here and collect morgans so this coin is different for me.min Report this Post to the Staff

Having only one side adds to that possibility. It does appear to crudely resemble the reverse of most years of the Quarter Eagle coins except for the "2.50" instead of "2 1/2 D."
