Is these dark spots on the coins horn silver? I see some scratches on the shapur face as if someone used sand paper on it do you think this was done to remove these horn silver and clean it? I would leave it "as-is" if it was in my collection. echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 08/11/2018 5:17 pm I read in another forum where you broke off a piece of this coin and than glued it back together. Why would you do that? I realize it's your coin, but no collector would EVER do that. Sasanian coins are struck thin on a large flan and tend to remain in good condition.
