I was sorting through my casino tokens when I rediscovered these VFW tokens. Both are well used. The design indicates that they were made by the Hoffman and Hoffman Company probably in the late 1970's to the early 1980's. What is most interesting is that there is no post number or local identification. I know that many VFW posts had/have illegal gaming machines for members only. So these tokens must have been from a Post in a place where such machines were illegal and they didn't want to advertise the fact too much. Wink-wink!

Just about every VFW post has gambling these days. Not necessarily legal. But.... it happens.
