Came across this coin and would like to find out why some letters appear to be doubled or with a shadow. All info I can get is appreciated.

I agree with DDD,due to a die fatigue, a very late die state.

Your coin shows severe Die Deterioration with Die Deterioration Doubling, caused by a worn die. See my thread for more information. http://goccf.com/t/325638
