Hello everyone..
I came across this coin and I would like to know if its possible that the damage on it happened at the mint or dis someone maybe try polishing this coin ? All tboughts are appreciated..

Looks like someone has tried to clean or possibly some thing has scraped over it.
In any case it is PMD, done after it left the mint so not an error.

To me it looks more like a slot machine coin.

It's Post Strike Damage. This happened after it left the U.S. Mint. Someone scraped it.
