Look at the Mint mark with a separation on the lower serif. That make newbie always happy to think they found RPM but there no more RPM after 1989

Good example my friend. So how would you explain it? Much like the other post @1983 DDR?, could it have something to do with the die perhaps? Deterioration, abrasion or just a clogged device? Or could it be movement, MD related. To be truthful, I don't know. Seeing the inside lower curve has me leaning in a clogged device, possible stress point? But no, not an RPM.

Note the tail of the '3' on the date? That mark on the MM looks like it may have been added after the strike, probably from a coin wrapper?
