I found this 1961 D LMC that has the attributes of a WDDO-001 on Mr. Wexler's site. However the die markers on this cent aren't there. It does have the extra bar under the L in Liberty. Thoughts as this is a pretty cool cent.

The doubling doesn't match WDDO-001. I think it might be a new listing possibly.

That would be pretty cool. I have never sent anything off and don't really know where to start. I have some things for Mr. Wexler to look at and he emailed me the instructions on how to do so. I guess that's my start!

If you look at his descriptions on his site this particular doubling was caused by a working hub so die markers will vary from working die to die. It could be the same but the markers might not match up. Just something to think about

WDDO-001 is the closest match. If the die markers do not match, then it's either a new die state or a new doubled die.

This would be a good one to send in with your other coins.

Also, Waynoah, WDDO-001 is not the same as WWHO-001. I think you're looking at the wrong listing.

You are def right Tanman. Sorry for the misinformation. I didn't realize there were separate listings. I guess I should've scrolled down another couple inches

WDDO-001 Wexler-Doubled-Die-Obverse.
WWHDO-001 Wexler-Working-Hub-Doubled-Obverse.

The difference. DDO is just one die.
WHDO: This doubled working hub created several dies that show the same hub doubling.

What does that mean?
The DDO is a doubled die from just one die. Creating a fewer number of coins with this hub doubling that are collectable.
The WHDO: created several dies that have the same hub doubling visible. So they are a lot more common than the DDO-001. While these are a doubled die, they are more common and don't warrant a premium.

Well die flow lines in that direction. But a closer image might show us more? Looking at John's example, I wondered why he listed this one? But it is his site, and my opinion isn't right to voice.
