Just curious on everyones tastes in collecting currency.

What types of currency is your favorite to collect?

What denomination do you mostly collect?

Any specific series that you collect?

I like the old "saddle blanket" large notes- especially the 1899 Black Eagle $1 silver certificate.

I just recently started to have interest in US notes about 4 months ago. I never knew that there was such a variety Although most of what I have comes from circulation, here is one of my favorites.

Right now I'm focusing on small size Legal Tenders (red seal) and Silver Certificates (blue seal) - all denominations.

Someday...Treasury/Coin notes, and small & large size gold certificates.

Silver Certificates generally.....
But I've been gifted other interesting ones......(Indian $5.00 bill in horrible condition) and a few others which I can't recall at the moment.
