Hello

I have a few questions about 4 silver coins from belgium.
1946 100 Franc (i cannot find a KM # for it) it is silver but do not
know it's silver percentage. The 3 others below state 0.3356 ASW
and I have the KM #'s on those but do not know how to figure the percent of silver in them. They are slightly different in size so why would all of them state the same ASW ? It's confusing as I cannot find
a belgian silver calculator.
1949 50 franc
1960 50 franc (MCMLX)
1958 50 franc

Any help appreciated. Thank's.

A 100 francs of 1946 does't exist. These coins were struck by decree of the Regent (Charles of Flanders) from 1948 until 1951.
KM#numbers are 138.1 and 138.2 (french) and 139.1 and 139.2 (dutch).

Composition is 0.835 silver; 0.4832 ASW

The three others must have the same size (30 mm), weight (12.50 grams) and composition (0.835 silver, 0.165 copper).
If the size of the circulation coin is smaller, it could be a 20 francs (27 mm, 8 grams, 0.2148 ASW)

Hi

Thank you for the silver percentage.
Now for the fun part. There is a 1946 100 franc belgium coin in silver. I saw it in hand. A guy stopped by my table sunday and wanted to sell me the 4 coins. That one was one of them. I did not make an offer on them at the time, that is why I asked about the silver content so I could figure out how much. Now, the other 3 coins listed, two are the same size but one is not. I looked at the 3 others
at don norris worldcoingallery and I.d.'d them all. He listed their
ASW as 0.3356 Now I am confused ? And yes, the 50 franc denoms. are correct on all 3. I am going to pick up the 4 coins this sunday from the guy. He said he would be back. Hope so. I will then post pics.
Why the discrepency on the ASW between sources ? I am going to go back and look up the 3 coins and double check there diameter.
Thank's again. I will post when I'm done doing that.
