A mintmark should be below the wreath, above the D O in Dollar on the reverse. If you look at the CCF Coin Facts page for the Morgan, near the bottom is lists the mintmarks and the location.

EDIT - in the top picture on that page, you can see where the S is located below the wreath.

The US mint only started using a P mintmark to the dollar in 1979, and the nickel, dime, quarter, & half dollar in 1980. Before that there was not an actual mark to indicate Philadelphia. Since your coin does not have a mintmark, it was produced in Philadelphia. Be careful, because some people remove an existing mintmark to make the coin more valuable on certain years.

A 1895-P Morgan dollar is probably the most valuable coin of that series. It would have to be verified by a well known TPG company. Ones I have recently seen for sale are in the $40,000-75,000 range. I would highly suspect that one is counterfeit. Either out-right counterfeit or one that a mintmark was removed.

If possible, take it to a reputable coin store to have it examined. It looks suspicious.
