Hey there!

I impulse purchased this today at an antique shop. I love the Woodgrain reverse but would love to get some help with a grade. I'm not experienced with these at all so all help is welcome!

**Edited: Previously listed as a "Woodgrain Reverse" but concluded to be a cleaning error.

That looks more like a cleaning streaking than a planchet alloy mix error. Notice how the gunk and dark is still within the devices and in the harder to clean areas. A dip wipe gone bad, left off doing the obverse which is fortunate, er, maybe not...

Can't be an alloy mix problem as large cents are 100% copper

Well shoot. I wasn't aware of that. So it's most likely a cleaning error?

F-12, that is a stain/cleaning, not woodgrain.
