Hello all,

I have recently added this medieval coin to my collection. But I can't find any similair. I am thinking about Normandy or an early Jerusalem crussader type?

one side there is a cross with lyrics V O (E retrogade) T ?

Reverse a odd style temple or barbarian writing city name?

On obverse, the first character could also be part of N or W. The last character could be K.

On reverse, if you rotate the coin 180o, maybe it is a place name in two (or more) lines, as found on Carolingian and Ottonian coins? Top line looks like ? R E. Bottom line looks like T H V. Based on obv, there could also be additional lettering missing from the rev.

Just some thoughts ... No idea on ID.
