I missed this thread while in the field last August... playing catch-up... I don't have a photo of the slab itself, but this one belonged to a geologist, and a numismatic author... https://www.PCGS.com/cert/11705144

Personally, I'd love to see a Wylie Coyote pedigree on a PCGS slab.

From the OP: Quote: ...just cause it isn't marked on the slab doesn't mean you can't post it! as long as you can trace it back to the collection...

Dorado ... I think that SPP wants to know whose collection the coin can be traced back to.... was it from a famous collection or famous/well-known collector? Is any of the coin's history known?

Dorado, from my understanding, a Pedigree is for a renown collector/collection, who is either gone, or had a very extensive collection which was recognized by the grading company or the auction company. For example, the Neil Armstrong Collection which is for sale at the moment and is listed as "The Man on The Moon" or like this 1942 Tombac Nickel, which is from the "JH Campbell Collection". Cheers Kevin

P.s. The coin went for conservation, and came back with foreign substances removed, revealing a beautiful purple hue, from the original red envelope that it was given to Mr. Campbell in. The coin now resides in a sp64 holder!
