Not one American has listed their food budget cost for 2 weeks.

We never eat junk food. How's the obesity issue going with the food budget in the US?

How is your US health funds cost going per month. How are the people who can not work going in the US when it comes to being able to buy their accommodation, utilities, food and much needed medication? How does the life expectancy look for these people who genuinely are unable to work.

You can see the 8 countries with the highest quality of life below.

It doesn't matter what the U.S. dollar buys or the AU dollar buys! Money does not buy "Quality Of Life"! What is does buy is luxury and you do not need luxury to have quality of life either.

I was making $60,000 a year until a motorcycle accident in 2002 disabled me. After almost 6 years and two surgery's I was declared disabled and now make under $15,000 a year. I was forced to get on housing because rent in Napa Ca. is twice what my check is. But I have excellent quality of life. My bills are paid, my fridge is packed full of food, I have a roof over my head and still manage to purchase a coin or two every month. I have 3 beautiful children and two beautiful grandchildren. I see the sun set every night and breath in fresh air in the early am when I awake and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Quality of life can be obtained by anyone who desires it. Everyone's preception of the "quality of life" differs. But if any of you think that you must have a lot of money to obtain it, perhaps you should look in the mirror and ask yourself what's really important to you in your life.

Just look at those tribes in the Amazon that have never eaten ice cream or have never taken a hot shower or bath, or slept in a nice comfortable bed. Yet, they wouldn't have it any other way. And the would tell you that their quality of life puts yours to shame. And there is no money involved. Hmmm, imagine that.

Edited to add,

Well let's see, those tribes in the Amazon live to be between 75 and 85 years old. They don't have the diseases that "Civilized " man does and when they do fall ill, everything they need is in the jungle.

Blatantly false that "we" never eat junk food unless you are just referring to yourself. SOOOO much stuff is fried there and the Australian obesity rate is the same as the US about 1/3rd of the population.

Trying to disprove feelings gets old fast.

basebal21 has taken in his comments every negative angle to try and insult me which is never going to happen. In person I would deal with it in other ways but on line my reply to this sort of stuff is simply

Now let me be totally clear here Tootallious.

Mark1959 comment is a great way to finish this thread and gives you a great compliment in the process which you totally deserve.

Edit: Have removed inflammatory comments.

Now for the 3rd time I quote Mark1959!

It's what low intelligence people do who resort to threats of violence because facts don't match their opinions

It is human nature that allows ones ego to speak in haste. Occasionally we need to put on our thinking caps if for nothing else, to keep our heads from swelling!

My food budget is pretty bad. I try to buy the highest quality. Juicing can be expensive too. I did two batches of stock this weekend, 16 and 12 pints, I probably spent $50 on the ingredients for that. I planted twenty cucumber plants this year and had cucumbers for months this summer, so much so that I fermented gallons of them, and now I have cucumbers until probably December.

I'll be pretty surprised if we fall back into the 1050 gold range, but wow where would silver be at then I wonder.

I think with Trump running the office, the stock market will continue on its course of uptrend, PM will tried stay flat or continue to drop, but it will reach a point that PM will have a basic price if it continues because lack of production.
