Can anyone tell me, for the 1953 Canadian quarter, is the large date or small date more common? Mintage figures for either or both types? Is this the quarter with a slight diameter difference between the varieties? Thanks, David Z

The two varieties are;
Large Date No Shoulder Fold
Small Date Shoulder Fold

The Small Date is slightly larger in diameter and not as common as the Large Date especially in higher grades.

If you can provide pictures, that would be great.

Why are pictures required?

I thought it would help the OP's thread to get more responses. But the question has been answered, so there's no more I need to say.
