Hey!

Just curious on if this should stay in my dollar junk bin
Noticed that this note has extra ink outside the green boarder. Is this worth keeping?

I don't think this would be considered an error, as such, but perhaps a variation? It's up to you whether you wish to keep it.

Condition, SN & prefix may also be a factor.

Is a non-serial 1967 and it's almost uncirculated crisp.

So $3 value in AU condition. If it is gets classify as a error, its a small percentage of the notes space which would be considered an offset printing error. At max, 25% or less of the note is considered a error. In AU it is listed at $75 value. In my opinion, I would note consider this error note that I would consider to invest in, but I'm sure there might be some who would. I don't see it reaching the listed value, but maybe it would reach $15.

Thanks for sharing and good luck

-I agree with "Coinfrog"

Twelve million of the "1867-1967" commemorative were printed and probably 99% of them were hoarded by the public (who never saw such a serial number before). That's 2 million over a regular run of 10 M (centennial with the regular SN).

Over a billion centennial $1.00 notes were printed, so as far as collecting goes (even the ones with regular SN), you won't find a more common item which seldom increases in BV.

Walk2dwater. I'm aware of the numbers for the 67 issue
My post was about the ink being outside the green boarder.

Within tolerance / very minor error at best. A curiosity, but not of much monetary value to an error collector.

I cannot see it being desireable as an error...no wow factor.
