It is WDDO-002: http://doubleddie.com/700034.html It is debated on whether it is a true doubled die or a die gouge. Wexler still lists it as a doubled die. CONECA removed it from its listings. Coppercoins says it is a die gouge. I lean towards die gouge. I have one of these too although, typical of most zinc pennies, it's in rough shape. Report this Post to the Staff
Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 08/22/2018 7:43 pm As I first looked at the OP's pix, I was thinking gouge. It just isn't like any other DDO eyelid and it's isn't quite the same right ending shape of the lid, it's like a reversed lid which can't happen. Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/23/2018 12:11 am Doesn't look the same. But the OP's coin looks like it may have been over polished? It maybe die chipping.
