Hello everyone,
My name is Wendy, a retired Vet and I am a newbie on collecting coins.
I happened to have a friend who also collects them. I was fascinated with what she was doing. So, every coin I come across I find myself looking at it before I spend it. I am not sure what I am looking for, just what I have seen on the internet. I would ask my friend to help but she is only looking for specific coins. I tried to look them up but I don't understand the language that well. I guess you can say I do well with pictures...lol...I have a 1959 penny no mint mark and one with a d mint mark. Mine has no Initials on the back next to stairs or in the front. I just don't know which ones to keep or let go. So I am keeping almost all my coins. I hope ya'll can help.

Thank you in advance!!

To the funny farm of former Vets and not so vetted! Semper FI!

You choose your question and direction you wanna go, it is YOUR collection. Be Traditional or Unconventional (), US, or foreign, coins or currency (just stay away from the stamp forum... ). When you have a question, if you can post a pix, as clear as you can get, cropped and both sides, with a little bit about what you question...that's really helpful to us. Don't worry about the lingo, it comes in time, but I will clue ya, coin collecting is very addicting, do NOT continue if you don't want to become hooked!

Oh, sounds like you'll fit well in the US Modern error coin forums...have fun!
