......Greetings and salutations to all members....
I felt that I must reach out to those with more knowledge than myself before calling a Zebra a Striped Donkey. I received these dimes in a handful of change last night and was wondering if I could glean someones experience with machine errors. Of course some will use the go-to PMD and they might be right.I thought I would see if anyone sees anything here like Retained Cuds, collar crap-outs(strikes)or exposed inner cladding on the edges. Any help would be appreciated.

Just PMD.

There is nothing at the Mint that would cause that damage.

I agree with the tanman.

Just a thought: you might consider spending some time on the error-ref and cuds-on-coins websites to familiarize yourself with these errors. Of course, we are also happy to provide our opinions here and you could benefit from looking at old threads here on CCF as well.

These poor DImes went through a lot. They show heavy Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint).
