Even though this coin isn't very photogenic I picked it up because of the toning. My camera is not doing this part justice. Has lots of blues and reds

Kinda wondering what this would grade?

I can post larger separate photos if needed

Thanks...Mont.

Maybe someone tried to clean the toning off.
Can definitely see hairlines from cleaning though.

You guys have better eyes than I do, all I can see is a couple of apparent fingerprints. Any chance we can get larger pics?

Thanks all!

I didn't expect the cleaned part though. I will have to look at it better with my loupe again. I didn't have my loupe on me when I bought it and my eyes were tired last night after driving all day.

Sure. Just give me a little bit and check back.

Okay after looking at the coin again, I am now in the cleaned boat too. Not sure how I didn't see all those little scratches on the obverse.

I think you may be right. There are a lot of scratches on the obverse while the reverse loos almost untouched.

I don't think larger photos are necessary as a cleaned designation kills most of the value.

On a brighter note the coin only cost $6 and after looking at it again it appears to be a Spike Head. I will shoot close ups of that and post it in the Post a Die crack thread sometime soon.

Thanks again for the help...Mont

Almost looks like the coin was retoned after a cleaning attempt. Hard to tell without having it in hand.
