Not sure how I didn't see all those little scratches on the obverse. Quote: Maybe someone tried to clean the toning off. I think you may be right. There are a lot of scratches on the obverse while the reverse loos almost untouched. I don't think larger photos are necessary as a cleaned designation kills most of the value. On a brighter note the coin only cost $6 and after looking at it again it appears to be a Spike Head. I will shoot close ups of that and post it in the Post a Die crack thread sometime soon.
