My mother got me started collecting coins with a 1919 Lincoln, 1936 Buffalo nickle and 1922 Peace Silver Dollar, all of which I promptly improperly cleaned so they were shiny. Well, sort of. Now I collect whatever I like or of higher value than I'm paying for it. So I'm a bit of coin hoarder. One of my favorites is to pull an Indian Head or any Canadian Kings out of circulation. My most recent purchase was a 1936-S Bay Bridge Half Dollar PCGS AU58. My first one. Cheers!

Thanks for the warm welcome ALL. Yea, some of the classics are way cool. I think I have 4 or so now, including Stone Mtn (two of the greater generals America has ever produced depicted) and Bridgeport, CT with PT Barnum ("Never give a sucker an even break" often attributed to). I also really like the Panama Pacific Gold but, those are way outa my league.

aboard! I lived in Upstate NY up until about 10 years ago. Still an Orange fan in March of course.
