1964 D Lincoln Penny Error On #4?

I took pics of the weird 4 and a normal 4 penny. Its not damaged at all, just looks like a die error maybe?

No error. More like metal being moved by a roll crimping machine finger

Nope, it's not an error. The "4" took a hit, causing the metal to get displaced.

After looking at it closer, someone apparently cut it off clean. Did a good job but oh well thank you!!!
