What is the difference? A coin of the type will be concave on one side and convex on the other! Also, yes, 1000g equals a kilo. Am I missing something?

In the post office catalog the coin is actually listed as something like 1010 g, which technically not a Kilo but should be close enough to be call a Kilo coin.

Looks like many nice interesting coins:

The Fractional set, I think it convex all the coins!

2018 Circulation Set - $29.95 With GITD 50 cents
This is something new, just interesting to take a look at.
Cause all annual sets usually released on January.

Special Wrap Coin Set $184.95
Imo - useless. But, it could be not bad keeper together with "Welcome to the world coin" for 2018 born babies.

True, but designating a coin one way or the other is based (at the RCM at least) on whether the coin's reverse is the convex or concave side.

I just can't stop laughing. If the RCM were a private company, they'd be long gone!

I like the GITD circulation coin. One suggestion for RCM - please make it available as a regular circulation coin or 5-coin circulation pack. New collectors do NOT buy circulation sets and love to pick up coins in their change or at coin exchanges.

The only dollar coins I see are in the circulation set and the special wrap set. And they are not silver.

I so agree.
I do not pay usually with the cards, using the coins and notes.
So from the 2017, in the circulation, I saw only couple of times 2017 Dollar and 2017 2 Dollar coins.
Nothing else.

I also note that there is no announcement of the 2018 "Renewed Silver Dollar". I was expecting a SGP 2oz version of the 1958 BC Commemorative dollar. Why that one... Convenient anniversary and no 2oz Renewed Dollar issued yet...

Can anyone recall when the Renewed Dollar was announced for prior years?
