Same booming luster & cartwheel, same source, a little scarcer of a date. And only after uploading the picture did I notice...a chunk out of the reverse above the "O" in ONE, PMD or bad planchet? Thanks!
A couple more close-ups on the area. If it is a planchet flaw, what does it do to grading due to it being on the reverse and not a "key" eye appeal area?
Mint errors arent considered damage and dont get details graded, it shouldnt really affect the overall grade either, but it could be harder to sell than a typical coin in the same grade.
I would put this at a high 63, primarily being held back by the strong bag mark on liberty's cheek
I'm with Adam high MS63 this year is well known for its frosty surfaces but poor luster. most of the luster is gone from the cheek. definitely a planchet issue as the "O" is unaffected. its surprising that the "O" is full
