Guys found this 1983 D penny that has a hole were the D suppose to be crazy thing the D still inside the hole any thoughts on this. Thank you for your help.

That's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). There's Zinc Rot corrosion on the mint mark.
