Check the mint-mark on this 1921S- 16 Berry Morgan-
I can't find any VAM for it right now- nothing matches in VAM World.

Also has slight die gouge on left wing of eagle and die chip by lip of Lady Liberty on obverse and chip under the 2 in the date plus chips inside the upper portion of the nine- nothing listed on any of these plus the Mint-mark seems outta wack to me.

It almost looks like its an S over another S or a D underneath the S plus the top part of the bottom serif appears to be cut-off andthen there is an extension out and almost touchs the outer downward curve portion of the S.

Opinions please.

I'm going to leave this one for Superdave. His knowledge is far greater on this series than mine. I only own three 1921s, one from each mint and never vammed them. In my mind 21s were never a legit coin but copies of a series that ended in 1904. Do have a complete set of Peace dollars, new design, legit coin. Funny how the mind works.

I'll take all of your "NON- LEGIT" 1921's you don't want
Provided of course "Ifs it free, its for me" (LOL)

Seriously, thanks for responding.

I think I'm going to shoot these pics over to
Jack Lee to see what he thinks, especially about the Mint-Mark and the diechip on Liberty's bottom lip.

Forgot to post pics of the diechip - here are some new one's showing the die-chip on the bottom lip.

Not too sure about die chip on lip- under 20x it looks like just metal on edge after being polished.

However, there are around 4/5 die chips between the upper and bottom lip- plus here are a few pics of the s mint-mark again from a different side angle- very strange looking.
