I just picked up these two fairly low grade ancients. Any help IDing these would be appreciated.

Is the first is a Macedonian coin of Philip II? And is the second Parthian? I'm not certain of the ruler.

Nice to see yet another Mithradates II coin posted this week. Good call, Paul. Definitely a tetrachalkous of this king. Some of the features are worn, so pinning down the exact Sellwood variety may not be possible. It's either a Sellwood 26.25, or a Sellwood type 24.33-36.

Regarding the first coin: Given that the horse appears to be rider-less, I suspect it's not Philip II but rather the big guy, Alexander III (the Great) - although Alexander II (370-367) issued similar types. Given the condition, it's hard to get a read on the device below the horse, to the right of the ground line. It may be a horizontal Boeotian shield, similar to:
